Why Surrogacy?

What is Surrogacy?
pregnan woman
  • Surrogacy is a process in which intended parents choose to engage in a legally binding agreement with a surrogate mother who will carry their child, as impregnated through embryo transfer.
  • In Greece, only Gestational Surrogacy is permitted, where the embryo carried by the surrogate does not contain her own oocytes, but rather those of the intended mother or a donor, combined with the sperm of the intended father or a donor.
Candidates for Surrogacy Include:
  • Heterosexual couples who have struggled with infertility
  • Single Mothers who are unable to carry a child
  • Intended parents with a health condition who do not want to pass it onto their child

Our Surrogacy Assistance Team focuses on clinics across Greece, mainly Athens and Thessaloniki, for your surrogacy journey, both for quality and for legal reasons.
